    "Lee min ho" the name of this K-Drama actor is enough to make any drama a mega-hit, City Hunter is based on action, thriller, romance and revenge story. After King Gongmin of Goryeo marries the Yuan princess, Noguk (Park Se-young), they return to Goryeo. On their way, they are attacked and the queen is fatally injured. According to the advice of his royal advisor, the king orders the Captain of the Royal Guard, Choi Young , to pass through a mystical portal and find the "heaven's doctor". Choi Young travels to the future and brings back Yoo Eun-soo, a modern-day doctor from Seoul, to save the queen's life. He promises that he will return her to her world once she saves the queen, but the royal advisor schemes and persuades King Gongmin to force Eun-soo to stay as she can be useful to him.

    Lee Joon Gi "The King Of Historical Drama" started his historical Korean Drama career with the Iljimae. Iljimae is like the robinhood of korea. The story revolves around a boy know as "Lee Geom" whose real father was a high rank official and was falsely accused as a treasoner and was killed by his own trusted friends. Lee Geom witnessed his father death with his own eyes and swear to god that he will never forget that day and will take his revenge. In order to find the nobles who killed his father he started to rob the nobels house in order to find the sword from which killed his father was killed and there he steals the illegal money, medicines and food that are secretly hidden by nobles and distributed it into the poor locals and started to become the ideal of the locals.

    The historical fantasy drama is taken from a novel by the same name which was written by Jung Eub-gwol. It tells the fictional love story of the king of Joseon Dynasty and a female shaman. The plot sets in a historical period where it seems fantasy, desire and romance. The Queen mother wanted to assassinate her stepson in order to protect her own son’s ability to become king. Ari, a shaman witnessed the murder and found guilty of betrayal and killed. Yeon-woo, for whom shaman Ari swore to protect. Apparently Crown prince Lee Hwon falls in love with Yeon-woo and meanwhile his half brother had also fallen in love with her. The Queen mother wanted to maintain his dynasty’s power, she started to promote Bo-kyung who is the daughter of Prime Minister and her biological relative. She wanted to curse on Yeon-woo so Bo-kyung took her place in sight of Crown Prince.

    Hwarang is probably one of the most watched and loved Korean Drama ever. Each friend of mine who watched this drama fall in love with it instantly. The Story of Hwarang revolves around an group of young men called "Hwarang", who discover their passion, friendship and love in the turmoil of the Silla Kingdom (57 BC–AD 935). The story starts when from Queen Ji So who has been ruling the Kingdom of Silla as regent since King Beopheung died, keeping her young son Sam maek jong hidden outside of the capital Seorabeol in order to kim hif safe from enemies and assassins. As time passes nobles, citizens, officials and even Sam maek jong himself become impatient to know that whom Queen Ji will pass the power. The powerful nobel are now applying any method to get the power from Queen Ji to them.

    This drama is highly recommended to me from my chingus on instagram. Empress Ki story revolves around Gi Seungnyang, a women born in Goryeo who get into the power despite the restrictions on her due to the era's class system, and later she marries Toghon Temür (Emperor of Mongol Empire) in order to become the empress of the Yuan dynasty for the power and wealth. She makes the huge sacrifice of leaving her first love, Wang Yu in order to become the empress.

    This drama is entitled as the best drama of the 2016 check out the list The Best Drama From Every Year. This drama holds a best storyline and concept even script and dialogues were so mesmerising and each dialogue teaches us the lesson in our daily life issues. This drama is a pure example about the darkest and poisonous truth of this world that how cruel this world tends to be , even blood relations turns against you and deceives you in order to cover up their bad deeds.I specially loved the OSTs of this drama. Check out A 25-year-old 21st-century woman, Go Ha-jin, is transported back in time to the Goryeo Dynasty. She wakes up in the year of 941 in Goreyo inside the body of a girl named Hae Soo which looks the same as her, who is a part of the family of the 8th prince of Goreyo. She initially falls in love with the gentle and warm-hearted 8th Prince Wang Wook (Kang Ha-neul), and later Wang So, the fearsome 4th Prince who hides his face behind a mask and due to which he is known as "wolf dog." As the story moves further, Hae Soo finds herself caught between the rivalry and politics among the princes who fight for the throne.
